A fast chart can come from real demand or from a few wallets trading with themselves. Memento Alpha uses Trending to find the move and the checks below to explain it.
Memento Alpha tracks Trending because moves show up there first. The desk then compares volume with liquidity, holder count and wallet spread before it treats a move as real.
Quick test: Look at how many distinct buyers joined during the move, not only the volume total. Check whether the move started before or after the first public call.

The rule behind this page. Memento Alpha keeps an alert only if it passes all of these:
- liquidity at least $10.0K
- at least 250 holders
Checked against the latest 48 alerts in the lane (about 4 hours): 30 passed. Median values for the passing alerts: cap $296.0K, liquidity $48.4K, holders 1161. 9 of the 48 lane alerts had liquidity below a tenth of their market cap, which makes exits expensive. Median concentration in the lane: 32 % of supply in the top ten wallets.

How we read a contract
The same short routine, every time.
Step 1
Size the position so a total loss does not change your week.
Step 2
Read the top ten holders and remove pools and burn addresses from the count.
Step 3
Confirm the token cannot be minted again or frozen in your wallet.
Step 4
See whether other Empire channels alerted the same contract and when.
Step 5
Re-check the token an hour later; many setups change fast.
Step 6
Set volume against pool depth and new holders over the same window.
